Nahrin Rahman Swarna
Nahrin Rahman Swarna, is at present working as a Junior Research Associate at Bangladesh Foreign Trade Institute. Her interest lies in the areas of Trade Theories and Policies, Trade and Development, WTO and other and International Trade issues.
Ms. Nahrin has completed her BS in Economics from North South University. Later, she obtained MSc in Economics from the University of Warwick, United Kingdom. Prior to BFTI, she has worked in various social research projects and different national and international conferences. She has also worked as an Undergraduate Teaching Assistant at the Department of Economics of North South University.
Ms. Nahrin has completed a number of courses including a training on ‘Application and Challenges of Small Area Estimation (SAE) Techniques in the Context of Poverty and Under-nutrition Mapping’, organised by the World Bank and the World Food Programme. She has experience in conducting, analysing and presenting survey reports.
