Delegation from USAID visited BFTI

A four-member delegation team of USIAD visited Bangladesh Foreign Trade Institute (BFTI) and participated in bilateral meeting on 13 May 2024.   

The meeting was presided over by the Chief Executive Officer of BFTI Dr. Md Jafar Uddin. In the bilateral meeting, he discussed the potential areas of trade and investment between Bangladesh and Australia. The meeting also discussed challenges of transition from LDC and proper utilization of opportunities, measures to be taken to encounter new challenges and expanding trade in the agro-food processing sector through research and investment.
