60th Meeting of the Board of Directors & 13th AGM of BFTI held

The 60th meeting of the Board of Directors (BoD) and 13th Annual General Meeting (AGM) of the Bangladesh Foreign Trade Institute (BFTI) for the FY 2023-24 were held on 26 December 2024 at the BFTI Conference Room.

Mr. Sk. Bashir Uddin, Hon’ble Advisor, Ministry of Commerce and Chairman, BoD, BFTI, Mr. Md. Selim Uddin, Secretary, Ministry of Commerce and Vice Chairman, BoD, BFTI, Mr. Mahbubur Rahman, President, International Chamber of Commerce Bangladesh (ICCB) and Vice Chairman, BoD, BFTI and Mr. Md. Hafizur Rahman, Administrator, Federation of Bangladesh Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FBCCI) Vice Chairman, BoD, BFTI were present at the meeting. 

Ms. Zakia Sultana, Senior Secretary, Ministry of Industries, Dr. Moinul Khan, Chairman (Secretary to the Government), Bangladesh Trade & Tariff Commission, Mr. Md. Anwar Hossain, Vice-Chairman, Export Promotion Bureau (EPB) & Administrator, Bangladesh Garment Manufacturers and Exporters Association (BGMEA), Ms. Mashfee Binte Shams, Rector, Foreign Service Academy Bangladesh, Mr. Kamran T. Rahman, President, Metropolitan Chamber of Commerce& Industry (MCCI), Mr. Razeev H Chowdhury, Acting President, Dhaka Chamber of Commerce & Industry (DCCI) were also present at the meeting as the distinguished members of the BoD. 

Mr. Mohammad Navid Safiullah, Chief Executive Officer (CEO), BFTI, Additional Secretary, Ministry of Commerce and Member-Secretary of the BoD, BFTI presented the Working paper of 60th BoD meeting. In the AGM, CEO, BFTI presented the Audited Accounts and Annual Report of the BoD for the FY 2023-24. The meeting approved the Audited Accounts and Annual Report of the BoD for the FY 2023-24.
