BFTI attempts to achieve one of the significant mandates of developing trade-related capacity for public and private sectors through academic programs. Bangladesh is on the way to shaking off LDC status in 2026 and transcending into a developing country with the strategy of export led growth and development. Bangladesh government has envisioned to build a developed and SMART country by 2041. At this juncture of graduation, it is now vital for Bangladesh to ensure quality education by putting special emphasis on the sector-specific professionals. Bangladesh required a skilled group of trade professional for overcoming the trade related challenges. As an initiative of the academic programs, BFTI has a plan to introduce Master’s Program in International Trade. The Master in International Trade will be an innovative and unique program in the trade related disciplines. This program will provide a distinct competitive edge to the participants for their future professional development. Through this program, participants will achieve a comprehensive understanding of the processes and considerations involved in evaluating, managing, and implementing strategies in international markets, in addition to strengthening participant’s ability to deal challenges that are becoming gradually globalized. The program will be open to all kinds of participants in order to ensure the diversity among the students.
