Bangladesh Foreign Trade Institute (BFTI) is conducted a study titled ‘Impact of Padma Multipurpose Bridge on the Foreign Trade of Bangladesh’ to explore, investigate and understand the underlying impacts of the Padma Multipurpose Bridge on the foreign trade of Bangladesh for the first time in the country. Blending both quantitative and qualitative methods, the study aimed to unveil the impacts of the Padma Multipurpose Bridge on export-import, trade logistics, regional connectivity and other trade-related aspects. The study also attempted to advocate some policy recommendations for enhancing investment and utilizing the bridge's connectivity for trade and economic growth.
