Bangladesh Foreign
Trade Institute (BFTI) has prepared a
report on the comparison of policy supports provided to RMG, Leather,
Jute, Pharmaceuticals, IT and Handicrafts Sectors.
Realizing the need
for export diversification, the government underscored
the urgency of paying attention to producing more new products and exploring
new markets for export and thereby reduce the dependence on a few products for
export. The objective of the report is to replicate the RMG policy supports in
the above-mentioned sectors.
