Bangladesh Foreign Trade Institute (BFTI), a think tank under Ministry of Commerce, conducted the study on: “Simplification of Trade Procedures, Custom Modernization ease of doing business for export promotion of Bangladesh to ensure policy coherence between national development priorities and international obligations on Trade Facilitation Agreements “under Bangladesh Regional Connectivity Project-1 (BRCP-1), WTO Wing, Ministry of Commerce (MoC). The study aimed to review way of simplification of trade procedures, customs modernization, improving ease of doing business for export promotion. Modernization of customs procedure and business-friendly taxation system can reduce the cost of doing business in Bangladesh and help expanding industries. The study report was published in March 2023
