Training programme on WTO Issues related to Agriculture for traders & stakeholders:

WTO Cell, Ministry of commerce, and Bangladesh Foreign Trade Institute (BFTI) signed a Memorandum of Understanding to implement training programmes on WTO rules related to agriculture on May 10, 2022. The objective of the set of training programmes is to develop an expert pool through enhancing the required knowledge of the stakeholders of agricultural trade in Bangladesh to compete in the international market even after the LDC graduation. Under this MoU, a total of 19 training programmes will be organised. The BFTI already completed 05 (five) trainings on WTO Negotiation on Agriculture, WTO Agreement on Sanitary and Phytosanitary Measures & WTO Agreement on Technical Barriers to Trade till 31 August 2022. 14 (fourteen) trainings are yet to be completed.
